Several Internet users had fun this weekend at a rather comical situation near Place Pogge, in Schaerbeek. In fact, we see concrete blocks placed on either side of a pedestrian crossing. Contacted, the alderman for local mobility, Adelheid Byttebier (Groen) recognizes that the situation is abnormal, and inquired with the services concerned, presuming that this was poor coordination between the entrepreneurs (who are not dependent on the municipality) and municipal services. She took the opportunity to ask that the concrete blocks be removed. “The concrete blocks were there before the markings to avoid illegal parking. The markings were installed very recently. The municipality will have the blocks moved.”
