2023-05-31 20:51:00

The Ciudadela 20 de Julio neighborhood, in the south of Barranquilla, has become the scene of constant confrontations between young people in the rain. This Wednesday, with the downpour, was no exception.

Videos circulating on social networks show how young people faced each other in the rain in the sector of ‘The blocks’.

Even the fight, where they threw stones, spread to Murillo street, in front of the Joaquín Barrios Polo Transmetro station.

As a result of these confrontations, the mass transportation service had to suspend service for an average of 30 minutes, causing congestion in stations and harming the mobility of Barranquilla’s citizens.

The community does not explain how the neighborhood has a Police Station and these young people are allowed to affect everyone’s peace of mind in this way.
