In the wake of the iOS 14.7 and tvOS 14.7 released, Apple also released a small software update for the Apple Watch. This is watchOS 7.6, which does not seem to bring any new functionality apart from the launch of the ECG app and arrhythmia notifications in a thirty new countries. It is likely that this new update also brings bug fixes and optimal compatibility with iOS 14.7.
To install watchOS 7.6 on your Apple Watch, you need to go to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, then My Watch> General> Software Update. Both devices must be connected to a Wi-Fi network for the update to start and the Apple Watch battery must be above 50%. The Apple Watch must also remain charging on its roller during the update.
