Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shaukat Basra has given a statement to postpone the rally to be held in Lahore on August 27 after Islamabad, but other leaders have denied his statement. Confusion has arisen regarding the Lahore Jalsa.
PTI leader Shaukat Basra said that PTI will focus on Islamabad Jalsa, after Islamabad the date of Lahore Jalsa will be announced.
PTI Central Punjab Senior Vice President Akmal Khan and Khurram Latif Khosa while holding a press conference strongly denied the reports of postponement of the rally scheduled for August 27 in Lahore.

Akmal Khan said that God willing, the meeting will definitely take place, no matter how much the Punjab government wants, the meeting of Tehreek-e-Insaf Lahore will prove to be a referendum against the Punjab government.
The party sources said that due to the absence of the leadership of Tehreek-e-Insaf Lahore, the preparations for the rally have not been completed, the leadership of PTI Lahore is suffering from differences while the workers of Lahore are also unhappy with the leadership.
Islamabad Jalsa: Dozens of PTI workers including MNA and MPA were arrested, 8 policemen were injured during the clash.
It should be noted that PTI had announced a rally on August 27 in Lahore, but till now the administration has not given official permission to Tehreek-e-Insaf for the rally.
The fifth application has been submitted by PTI to DC Lahore, PTI Central Punjab Senior Vice President Akmal Khan Bari submitted the application.
Akmal Khan alleged that despite the orders of the Lahore High Court, the DC is still not informing about the venue of the meeting, a copy of the court order has also been submitted to the DC Lahore.

Earlier, PTI leader Khurram Khosa said that we have not postponed the rally but the administration is still not allocating space for the rally.
Apart from this, Tehreek-e-Insaf has also announced to file a contempt of court petition against Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore.
