It was the ARS (Regional Health Agency) which granted the Charolais hospital last July a waiver authorizing the practice of surgeries related to breast cancer, valid for six months. This decision was taken in particular to deal with the difficulties encountered in the operating room of the Chalon-sur-Saône hospital, in particular the lack of anesthetists. This resulted in difficulties in scheduling breast cancer operations.
