The Walloon Minister-President, Elio Di Rupo (PS), met this Wednesday followingnoon, in Namur, his counterpart from the Flemish Region, Jan Jambon (N-VA).
The two political leaders held a working meeting in the early followingnoon at the Elysette before holding a press conference and walking the streets of Namur and the site of the Citadel.
This meeting was an opportunity to discuss cooperation between Flanders and Wallonia, employment and mobility of Walloon workers in Flanders and Flemish workers in Wallonia. There was also talk of the Belgian presidency of the European Union and the role that the Regions will play.
