Coquimbo region maintains 55 active cases: seven infected are reported

In addition, the authority delivered the report of patients hospitalized for Covid-19 in the region. “Today we report that 13 people remain hospitalized as a result of the virus, of which 4 are serious and connected to mechanical ventilation,” he explained.

Regarding the affected health personnel, the Assistant Director of Care Management reported that 9 officials from the Health Service and hospitals have tested positive for the virus, and 37 are in preventive quarantine. While in Primary Health Care (PHC), again no officials are reported who have tested positive for the virus, and 9 are kept in quarantine.
