French Bayern Munich international Corentin Tolisso underwent surgery on Friday (February 19th) for a serious tear in a muscle tendon in a thigh and must expect a long absence, his coach Hansi Flick announced at a press conference. “On a shot (in training), he felt intense pain, there was no warning sign,” said the Bayern coach. According to German media, the 25-year-old midfielder could be absent for up to six months and would therefore be forced to forfeit Euro 2020, rescheduled from June 11 to July 11 due to the Covid-19.
