Corona test “negative” for Biden after his second infection

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a report that included survey data that revealed how monkeypox outbreaks are concentrated among men who have had sex with multiple men.

On Friday, the CDC issued more detailed recommendations on how to avoid exposure to the disease among those of similar sexual orientation.

Of the 291 men surveyed, 40% reported having had two to four partners and 14% reported having had five to nine partners in the three weeks prior to the development of the monkeypox outbreak, according to the report.

About 19% reported 10 or more partners during that time, the CDC reported.

Of the 86 men who reported their relationships, 28% said they had group sex (sex with more than two people).

This information was drawn by the CDC based on the report, which culminated in research conducted from May 17 to July 22, 2022.

After this data was released, the CDC issued more specific recommendations to reduce the risk of monkeypox than its previous guidelines.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has also expanded its recommendations to include anyone who is sexually active, not just those who are suspected of being infected.

In addition to advising people to limit the number of their sexual partners, the CDC recommends wearing gloves and changing or cleaning clothing, bedding, towels, and sexual objects after sex.

These developments come after cases increased to more than 7,000 known cases in the United States, prompting the federal government to declare a public health emergency.

Monkeypox is a viral disease that can be transmitted to anyone through close personal contact, often skin-to-skin contact, as well as contact with respiratory secretions and direct contact or touching of objects used by an infected person.

US health officials declared monkeypox a public health emergency, after the World Health Organization declared it a global health emergency in late July.

The release of these statements and guidelines marks a new phase in the response, according to the newspaper. The Wall Street Journal“.

Government officials hoped the new recommendations would help slow the spread of the virus by reaching those most at risk.

The lack of tests, vaccines and medicine has harmed this effort and drawn criticism from some doctors and health experts.

A CDC spokeswoman said that given the current limited supply of the vaccine, the CDC recommends changing certain behaviors that may increase a person’s risk of infection.

“These temporary changes will help slow the spread of monkeypox until the vaccine supply is sufficient,” she told the newspaper.
