Starting today, infants between the ages of six months and four years can be vaccinated once morest Covid-19 according to the previously booked vaccination dates.

Appointments might be reserved from Jan. 30, according to the Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA).

The vaccine developed by Pfizer for infants and young children is used. Three vaccinations must be given at intervals of eight weeks (56 days).

KDCA said infants and young children needed immunization given higher mortality and hospitalization rates than children and adolescents. The safety and efficacy of Pfizer’s vaccine for infants and young children have been tested and confirmed through the Department of Food and Drug Safety’s approval process.
