Coronavirus: the High Authority for Health gives details on the vaccine –

According to the High Authority for Health (HAS), there is no need to systematically vaccinate people who have already contracted Covid-19.

In a statement released on Saturday, the High Authority of Health indicated the absence “specific serious side effect“when a person having contracted coronavirus get vaccinated. She thus clarified that there is no need to systematically vaccinate these people, unless they wish. This clarification comes after the recommendations of the HAS on November 30 for the campaign of vaccination against the coronavirus in France.
“To date, the data do not allow us to know if there is a benefit to vaccinating people who have already been infected with SARS-CoV-2“, noted the HAS.

Moreover, the HAS confirmed its recommendation to vaccinate residents of nursing homes as a priority. It specifies, however, that follow-up and rehabilitation care are not concerned in this phase 1 of the vaccination campaign, relate France Info.
