The “tomato flu”, named for the red blisters that appear on the skin of infected people, has symptoms similar to those of Covid, including fever, fatigue and body aches, although the two viruses are not not related.
Other symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, rash, and dehydration. In very few cases, changes in limb color have been reported.
