Jeddah: The number of new covid patients has increased once more in Saudi Arabia. Remission decreased. 127 new patients and 94 recoveries were reported. With this, the total number of Covid cases reported in the country so far has reached 8,16,389 and the number of recoveries has reached 8,03,546. One new death was also reported. With this, the total number of deaths in the country has risen to 9,351.
Currently, 3,492 people are under treatment due to the disease. 32 of them are in critical condition. They continue to receive treatment in intensive care units of various hospitals in the country. The current covid freedom rate in Saudi Arabia is 98.44 percent and the death rate is 1.14 percent. The number of newly reported cases in major cities of the country: Riyadh 52, Jeddah 18, Albaha 9, Madinah 8, Makkah and Dammam 5 each, Twaif 4, Hufuf, Khatif and Dhahran 2 each, and 20 in all other places.
