The magic of the Cowboys Fringants at the Festival d’été de Québec will not be transported to Sherbrooke on Friday evening: the organization of the Fête du Lac des nations has announced that the group has canceled its show at the event.

It is because of the treatment of singer Karl Tremblay that the group must forfeit. This was also the case at the Festirame, in Alma, at the beginning of the month.
The Laval group Simple Plan will take the stage at 10:30 p.m. to make up for the absence of the Cowboys Fringants.
