CPI leader with 2.5 kilos of ganja arrested by Excise CPI leader caught by excise with 2.5 kg ganja

The CPI leader was caught by the excise team with ganja. AIF district committee member and CPI Koduman local assistant secretary Jitin Mohan was caught by Excise in Atur, Pathanamthitta, with two and a half kilos of ganja. Ananthu, a native of Kodumon, who was with him, ran away.

Jithin is an accused in several criminal cases in connection with the conflict at the Co-operative Bank, including the one where Kodumon threw the SI and injured him. Excise officials said he was a member of a gang that used to deliver ganja to ganja dealers in Adoor and surrounding areas. The Maruti Alto car in which the accused were traveling has also been taken into custody.
