Alappuzha: A CPM worker was hacked to death in Alappuzha. Valavanad local committee member TC Santosh was hacked to death. Santosh was admitted to a private hospital in Kochi with serious injuries to his arm and leg. Police arrested two BMS activists in connection with the incident. Kuruvi Suresh and Shanmughan were arrested. Police say the attack was caused by animosity.
