Credit Suisse delays publication of its annual report following an appeal from the SEC

Credit Suisse said Thursday it was delaying the release of its annual report following the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) raised questions regarding its earlier review of cash flow statements in 2020 and 2019.

The bank said the SEC called it regarding “certain open comments by the SEC regarding the technical assessment of previously disclosed revisions to the consolidated cash flow statements for the years ended December 31, 2020 and 2019.”

“We confirm that the 2022 financial results, as previously reported on February 9, 2023, are unaffected by the above,” Credit Suisse said in a statement.
