Credit Suisse-Norwegian fund wants Swiss bank board reshuffle

Credit Suisse was taken over by rival UBS last month as part of an emergency bailout orchestrated by Swiss authorities for three billion Swiss francs (3.04 billion euros) to avoid turbulence in the global financial system.

“Shareholders should have the right to request board changes when the board is not acting in their best interests,” the Norwegian investment fund said.

Besides Axel Lehmann, Norges also opposes the re-election of Iris Bohnet, Christian Gellerstad, Shan Li, Seraina Macia, Richard Meddings and Ana Pessoa, all current members of the board of directors of Credit Suisse.
