Cricket match organized by Bangalore Malayalee Sports Club this Sunday | Cricket News

Bangalore: The second cricket match of the Bangalore Malayalee Sports Club (BMSC), which has been active among the Malayalees in Bangalore for the last two years, will be played on February 27 from 7 am at the Iqra Games Village Ground at Kudlu Gate in Bengaluru.

The first prize will be a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 15000 / – and the second prize will be a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 7000 / -. There will also be cash prizes and trophies in the categories of Best Batter, Best Bowler, Best Wicket Keeper, Man of the Match and Man of the Series.

The Bangalore Malayalee Sports Club was inaugurated in March 2019 by Bengaluru MLA and former Karnataka Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy. Subsequently, cricket, football and badminton tournaments were organized by various teams comprising of Bengaluru Malayalees only.

As the expansion of Kovid affected the sports sector, BMSC organized several games online. After 20 long months, the Bangalore Malayalee Sports Club is gearing up for another sporting extravaganza involving only Bengaluru Malayalees.
