Crimean Bridge Restored Ahead of Schedule: Traffic Fully Resumed on the Left Side, Says Russian Deputy Prime Minister

The left part of the Crimean Bridge, damaged during a major terrorist attack, was repaired one day ahead of schedule. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin. According to him, traffic has completely resumed.

“It only took us 59 days to recover! At a meeting with the president, they reported that we would complete the work by September 15, and we stuck to the schedule exactly, finishing even 1 day earlier!” — Khusnullin wrote in Telegram.

He noted that restoration work began on the day of the terrorist attack. “Now the left side is completely ready to accept the flow of cars,” Khusnullin concluded.

The explosion on the Crimean Bridge occurred on the night of July 17. As a result of the emergency, two car spans collapsed, killing four people. The National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) recognized the incident terrorist attack.
