Criminality in Benguela: young man stabbed to death for refusing to give bread to bandits – news

An 18-year-old youth was stabbed to death on the morning of Saturday, the 24th, in one of the streets of Bairro da Lixeira, on the outskirts of the city of Benguela, in an act committed by a “delinquent” teenager, according to witnesses to the Kianda’s Mail, famous in the locality, in the commission of crimes.

According to witnesses and relatives contacted by the Kianda’s mailthe deceased came from a bakery known in the Lixeira area as Cameia, where he went to buy bread for home.

During the journey, he came across the alleged delinquent, who asked him for bread, to allegedly satisfy his hunger, and who, having been denied, resorted to a knife that he handed to the deceased, who in life answered by the name of Nésio, having known immediate death at the scene of the crime.
