The Ukrainian Zaporizhia power plant, in the hands of the Russians, found itself “on the verge of a nuclear accident” during the night from Friday to Saturday, due to a temporary power cut, said the Ukrainian nuclear operator Energoatom.

“Last night, a total blackout occurred at the Zaporizhia power plant,” Energoatom wrote on Telegram, specifying that power was restored a few hours later. “The (Russian) occupying forces do not care regarding security at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant,” accused the president of the operator, Petro Kotin.
