Critérium du Dauphiné Stage 7: High Mountains & Summit Finish at Col de la Croix de Fer

2023-06-10 11:31:43

The Critérium du Dauphiné returns to the high mountains for the seventh stage this Saturday with three climbs on the program. The 148km will take the runners from Porte-de-Savoie to the Col de la Croix de Fer for a summit finish.

The first ascent of the day will be the Col de la Madeleine, the summit of which is located 75km from the finish. Then comes the climb of the Col de la Confrérie which will end with the Col du Mollard before a short descent and the final climb of the Col de la Croix de Fer.

If the day before no gap was made in the general standings, this seventh stage should be the scene of a good fight for the general even if Jonas Vingegaard Seems to have a fairly comfortable mattress.
