Riga – Croatia has come another step closer to securing a ticket to the 2024 European Football Championship finals in Germany. Team boss Zlatko Dalic’s team deservedly beat Latvia 2-0 in Riga on Saturday and are now two points ahead of Wales in second place in qualifying group D before the final round. The Welsh moved into a better position with a 1-1 draw in Armenia. The Croatians still have a chance of winning the group.
