Croatians see sharply higher prices after the introduction of the euro

Two days following the introduction of the euro, many Croatians are shocked by what they consider to be sudden price increases in their country. There are many complaints on social media regarding food that has become (much) more expensive. The effect can also be felt in the hospitality industry. Finance Minister Davor Filipovic says he will investigate the matter and promises to take measures if necessary.
