The Crossing Europe Film Festival and the Kino Ebensee cultural association have broadened the approach for the “European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl Salzkammergut 2024” to present the diversity of a region.

With the project “Let’s Live Together – Communities and Culture on Screen” they want to use the medium of film to show “different forms of social and cultural coexistence in different European regions”.

The program of the “last remaining arthouse cinema in the Salzkammergut” in Ebensee from September 16 to 21 includes an international film screening with seven feature films and film discussions, a practice-oriented video project for around 35 students from the Ebensee Fashion School and apprentices from Salinen Austria, and the panel discussion “Salzkammergut, let’s live together!”.
