Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr. (55) has reached an out-of-court settlement with the plaintiff in a rape allegation. There will be no trial in the matter, the competent court said on Tuesday in New York. Details of the out-of-court settlement were not initially known. The woman accuses Gooding Jr. of raping her in a New York hotel regarding a decade ago. Gooding Jr. denies the allegations.

Numerous other women had accused the actor of harassment in the past, which he had admitted to court some time ago. At first, Gooding Jr. denied that. He did not have to be imprisoned, but had to fulfill conditions such as behavioral courses.
