Curse of the Dead Gods set for release on February 23

Focus Home Interactive has announced that Curse of the Dead Gods, its popular roguelike, finally abandon its Early Access phase and launch its final version in Spain and the rest of the world next day February 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

To celebrate this announcement the company has distributed a new trailer of just 30 seconds in which they show us various sequences taken directly from their gameplay at the same time that they leave us some of the phrases that the critic has dedicated to them during their Early Access.

A promising roguelike

Curse of the Dead Gods is an action and role-playing game in the style roguelike in which we will have to enter a cursed temple full of great and attractive treasures, but also all kinds of lethal traps and dangerous creatures that will not hesitate for a second to tear us apart as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

Evidently, we will have a varied arsenal of weapons that we must learn to master, as well as a very particular mechanic that will make corruption grow within us as we use spells and supernatural abilities.

In Vandal we were able to test its version of Early Access and we dedicate an article of impressions in which we commented that “we have spent some very pleasant hours testing Curse of the Dead Gods, a roguelike quite enjoyable and challenging, with mechanics that, if we see them one by one, are quite simple, but when we combine them they all marry quite well and offer us a pleasant gaming experience that we think fans of the genre will like. ” We said it has the potential to “end up being one of the first surprises of the year.”
