The accident happened near the Kanjoor temple on the national highway at 8.30 am on Saturday. After visiting the temple, he was returning home on his scooter when he was hit by a car coming from behind. A car carrying residents of Kalikavila was hit. The body is in Haripad Taluk Hospital Mortuary.
