Deadly Accident Kills 5 People, 1 Man Hysterical, Luxury Car Speeds and Burns

TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Five young men were killed in a deadly accident at 37 Tanjong Pagar Road, Singapore, on Saturday (13/2/2021) morning.

The victims, aged 26 to 29 years, were declared dead at the scene of the car accident.

Quoted from The Straits Times, the accident involved a luxury white BMW M4.

At 05.30 am local time, the car was speeding along Jalan Tanjong Pagar.

Minutes later, eyewitnesses said, the car caught fire immediately after hitting an empty shophouse previously occupied by Five Oars Coffee Roasters.

After that, the Civil Defense Forces Singapore (SCDF) was alerted to extinguish a burning car.

A man was later seen crying hysterically at the scene and begging his friends to be saved from the car.

After it was confirmed the accident killed five people.

While quoted from CNA, a witness said he saw a 26-year-old woman, who is believed to know the driver of the luxury car, trying to help.

“She (the woman) had severe burns all over her body and was conscious when she was taken to the Singapore General Hospital,” the police said.
