It is indeed with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Francis [Last name] of Fountainhill,Cleggan,Co.Galway, formerly of Ahascragh, Co. Galway. He will be profoundly missed by his loving wife Mary.
Francis was a beloved father to his son Sean and daughter Stacey, and her partner Ronan. He was also a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and freind. He leaves behind a heartbroken mother-in-law, and also numerous nephews and nieces who will cherish his memory.
Francis’s remains will repose at his residence in fountainhill (H71 RF61) on Tuesday,December 17th,from 5 pm to 7 pm.A funeral Mass will be held at Claddaghduff Church on Wednesday, December 18th, at 10 am followed by a cremation service at Shannon Crematorium.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the palliative Care Team at UHG or the RNLI.
