Death of Chester Bennington: his son is indignant at the theories of some fans

In 2017, Chester Bennington left us taking his life. The Linkin Park singer suffered from depression and his cause of death was confirmed to be suicide.

Many years later, his son Tyler Lee Bennington wanted to raise awareness regarding the subject of suicide on TikTok. Last month, he paid tribute to his dad on what would have been his 47th birthday. It read: “Mental health is also important.”

However, one person commented, writing ‘Your dad didn’t kill himself’ before adding ‘He was doing good things in this world and they didn’t appreciate it’.

To which Tyler replied: “That’s bullshit, I don’t accept this on my own page. I’m going to block this person. I’m a child, it’s inappropriate to comment on this on my posts or on any other post.”

The 17-year-old added that none of these theories have been proven.

“These are just people trying to turn a tragedy into a sensational story,” he concluded.
