Death of Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac

We just learned of the death of Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac. She has long been a singer, keyboardist and songwriter for Fleetwood Macand has just passed away at the age of 79.

Christine McVie, who began her career with the Chicken Shack group, joined Fleetwood Mac in 1970. She (co)-wrote some of the group’s greatest hits, such as the classics from the album Rumours ,“Don’t Stop” et “You Make Loving Fun”, ou encore “Hold Me,” “Little Lies,” “Everywhere”, et “Over My Head.”

The family has just communicated the information, specifying that she succumbed to “a short illness”, surrounded by her family, this morning at the hospital:
