The Ministry of Interior and National Security in the Gaza Strip announced the death of a death row convict following he was transferred to Shifa Hospital late last night from the Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Center in Gaza City.
The spokesman for the Interior and National Security in the Gaza Strip, Iyad Al-Bazom, said: “The inmate (N.A. – 67 years old) died in Al-Shifa Hospital following being transferred from the Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Center in Gaza City late last night, and he suffers from heart disease.”
Al-Bozom indicated that the inmate is under the death penalty, and he was arrested in 2015.
