Death of Djènè Kaba Condé: Her husband, Alpha Condé, asks the junta not to “meddle” with the funeral

Conakry-Guinea: A few hours following the announcement of the death of the former First Lady, Djènè Kaba Condé, the President of the Guinean Transition, Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya, in a press release paid a vibrant tribute to the deceased, presented his condolences to the people of Guinea, to the Kaba and Condé families. Without explicitly mentioning the name of the former Alpha Condé.

Apparently, former President Alpha Condé, in exile in Turkey, did not like the communiqué of the man who overthrew him in the early morning of September 5, 2021.

In a message attributed to Alpha Condé and addressed to the Guinean ambassador in Paris, Sinkoun Sylla, he warns the authorities of the transition. “Hello excellency. Please do not in any way involve the authorities of GUINEA IN THE FUNERAL OF MY WIFE.. Under no circumstances do I allow you or anyone else to meddle in the death of my wife.” he hammered.

Will this warning fall into the attentive ears of Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya and his government? The next few days will edify Guineans.
