Defenseman Sean Durzi Traded to the Arizona Coyotes: Latest NHL Trade News

Defenseman Sean Durzi has to change his address following the Los Angeles Kings announced on Saturday that he was traded to the Arizona Coyotes for a 2024 second-round pick.

This second-round choice comes from the Montreal Canadiens that the Coyotes obtained in 2021 when they sold Christian Dvorak to CH.

Durzi excelled offensively last season with 38 points, including nine goals in 72 games.

The Mississauga native was a second-round pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2018 draft.

The back had made his debut in the National Hockey League (NHL) during the 2021-2022 season. The 24-year-old had banked 27 points, including three goals in his rookie year.

The California organization signed him to a two-year contract extension worth a total of $3.4 million.

The Ontarian has played 136 games on the Bettman circuit so far. He flashed the red light 12 times in addition to amassing 53 assists for a total of 65 points.
