nascar Canada has officially canceled the Sunset 225 event, which was originally slated for june 21. This means there will be no Nascar Canada races at Sunset Speedway this season.

to ensure the championship maintains its required twelve races, Delaware Speedway will now host a double program on Saturday, September 13. This event will feature two 125-lap races on one of Ontario’s most historic short oval tracks. More details, including the day’s schedule, will be released soon.

The season kicked off at Mosport, but the second race in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, was delayed. Both the Vallée-Jonction race, now rescheduled for August 2, and the Sunset Speedway event where postponed due to rain.

So far, four races have been completed in the 2025 season. Marc-Antoine Camirand, the reigning champion and winner of two events, currently leads the standings with 166 points. He holds a one-point advantage over Kevin Lacroix, who won in saskatoon.
