Delhaize: the cellar depot blocked in Zellik, two out of three stores closed in Brussels and Wallonia

Nearly two thirds of Delhaize’s integrated stores are on strike once more this Friday, the movement continuing especially in Brussels and Wallonia.

83 stores are thus closed and 45 open, according to a spokesperson for the lion brand. If, in Flanders, 70% of integrated stores are open, none are in Brussels and Wallonia. Strikers continue to oppose management’s plans to franchise Delhaize’s 128 integrated stores. An announcement that had the effect of a bomb among the staff.
