Delivery of the Economic War bonus of 1,640 bolivars begins

Economic War Bonus! Starting Monday, July 22, the Canal Patria Digital anannounced that the process of depositing the Economic War bonus for pensioners of the Venezuelan Social Security Institute (IVSS) has begun.

In his account at X, he indicated that the amount of the benefit is 1,640 bolivars, which is equivalent to approximately 44.80 dollars according to the official exchange rate published by the Central Bank of Venezuela of 36.60 bolivars per dollar, with a value date of Monday, July 22.

Hours earlier, IVSS pensioners received the 130 bolivars corresponding to their pension for the month of August.

Economic War Bonus

The sum of 1,640 bolivars plus 130 bolivars equals 1,770 bolivars, which is equivalent to 48.36 dollars. This amount represents 8.22% of the Basic Basket for a pensioner, which was 587.78 dollars in June 2024, according to the Documentation and Social Analysis Center of the Venezuelan Federation of Teachers.
