In an information note dated August 11, 2023, the director of medical and technical services at the Sourou Sanou University Hospital Center (CHUSS), Dr Souleymane Konaté calls on the growth in the number of dengue cases within the population and health personnel.

It therefore calls for closer monitoring of this disease and all other haemorrhagic fevers through early detection. If there is no specific treatment in this area, Dr. Souleymane Konaté affirms that early and energetic supportive care is essential.

It therefore recommends that any suspected and/or confirmed case be put under a mosquito net while using repellents (insecticides, etc.).
