The public channel has decided to suspend Denis Collard from presenting the weather forecast until October 14, 2024. A temporary eviction caused by his potential candidacy for the municipal elections, which would taint his obligation of neutrality. The presenter is already a municipal councilor for Bertrix and for the province of Luxembourg.
”I did indeed receive notification that I was being removed from the air as of December 25. Whether I run for office or not, it’s all the same. I am considered a notorious activist,” Denis Collard told our colleagues at Sudinfo.
