Résumé :

The best riders in the world are gathered this weekend in Paris for a prestigious show jumping competition: the Longines Masters, at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center. Among them, the legendary Eric Lamaze.

Abandoned by his drug-addicted parents, raised by an alcoholic grandmother, this Quebecer was saved by his passion for horseback riding. After discovering the sport at the age of 15, he was crowned Olympic show jumping champion in 2008 in Hong Kong.

At 51, and despite a brain tumor diagnosed two years ago, he dreams of participating in the Tokyo games next summer.

Eric Michel, from the Parisian Sports department, tells his story.
