Detention of Omsk Resident for Calling on Mobilized Russians to Surrender to Ukrainian Armed Forces

Law enforcement agencies detained a resident of Omsk, who on the Internet called on mobilized Russians to lay down their arms and surrender to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The official representative of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Omsk region, Irina Rusnak, spoke regarding this.

“A 22-year-old resident of Omsk was identified and detained, involved in posting public calls on the Internet to carry out activities directed once morest the security of the Russian Federation,” said Irina Rusnak, as quoted by TASS. She noted that a criminal case has been filed once morest the man. On the Internet, the man actively called on mobilized Russians to surrender to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, a resident of Omsk wanted to join the Ukrainian army himself.

It was established that the man received information from the Ukrainian side on how to cross the border with the Russian Federation. During the searches, his equipment was confiscated.
