Digital Transformation Achieved: Dubai Ministry of Justice Conducts 95% of Federal Court Cases Online

Dubai > The Dubai Ministry of Justice will conduct 95 percent of federal court cases online in the first quarter of 2023. The Ministry is making efforts to improve government services through digital transformation. The ministry’s achievement is in line with the UAE’s digital transformation plans and supports the goal of a digital government by 2025. Proceedings went online following Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, directed the government to bring 80 percent of federal court cases online by June 2021. The government has introduced a digital system for online marriages, reducing paperwork. Notaries public used video calls and specialized technology to create 99 percent digital power of attorney.
