The operation took place on the street of Independence, near Montero, following a citizen report about alleged weapons or cartridges. Upon arrival, the police found three individuals conducting questionable financial activities on public roads. During the intervention, the suspects tried to bribe the officers, leading to an additional charge of bribery.
The arrested individuals were identified as Edmundo “N” (21), María Alejandra “N” (27), both from Colombia, and Just “N” (53) from Mexico. Officers confiscated a Nissan vehicle with taxi markings and over 100 religious cards used to record loan details. After the legal procedures, the trio was handed over to the Attorney General of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) for further investigation.
