Discover the Berria Bravo BR: A Winning Combination of Comfort and Grip for Hardtail Bikes

2023-06-29 18:13:42

Finding comfort and grip is always the big question on hardtails, and on paper, we can easily imagine that the solution found by Berria will do better than the previous model. However, no miracle: with this additional pivot point, the Bravo cannot claim to be as light as a classic semi-rigid without any artifice of this kind. The high-end Bravo BR frame is announced at “999 g”, which is 200 to 250 g more than the lightest models on the market, and it takes 1270 g with hardware for the Bravo.

Despite this, the Spanish brand does not hesitate to evoke a “racing DNA” for this new Bravo and the geometry confirms these claims: short chainstays of 420 mm, a reach of 448 mm in size M or 465 mm in size L ( 3 to 5 mm more than a Scott Scale RC), a seat tube angle between 74.1° and 75.1° (regarding average for a hardtail) and a head angle that varies quite a bit original, going from 66.5° in XS to 68° in L.
