“One Piece” tells the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a young pirate in search of One Piece, a coveted treasure that makes whoever finds it the “Pirate King”. Small problem: according to the legend, it would be located in the most dangerous ocean. To seize it, Luffy will not be able to do it alone, so he founds the “Straw Hat Crew”, composed of members with very different characters from each other.
At first glance, the first season should be regarding the meeting between Luffy and his crew, and therefore cover the first volumes of the manga. The live-action aims to attract all audiences, whether fans of Eiichirō Oda’s work or people who know nothing regarding it. Different types of viewers reacted en masse to the trailer.
