Elastic Plastic Space Power Gangster Future Pop. What is that? The genre name of Ikan Hyu. Since they don’t feel comfortable in the classic drawer system of genres, they have simply created their own pool of musical styles from which they draw their sound.
Behind the band are the creative heads Hannah Bissegger from Zurich and Anisa Djojoatmodjo from Winterthur. Ikan Hyu means shark in Indonesian and is a nod to Anisa’s roots, whose father is from Java.
