Fox has confirmed it will launch its newest animated series Grimsburg on Sunday, January 7, 2024, following the Fox NFL doubleheader. Starring and executive produced by Jon Hamm, the series follows the troubled family life of detective Marvin Fruit (Hamm). In addition to starring John Hamm, it also stars Greg Chun (The Trial, Squidward) and Alan Tudyk (Rogue One, I, Robot). Although it hasn’t aired yet, the show has been renewed for a second season by Fox. The show’s synopsis reads: “Marvin Flutter may be the greatest detective of all time, capable of catching cannibal clowns or correctly identifying mid-century modern wardrobes. But there’s one mystery he still can’t crack— his family. Now he’s back in Grimsburg, a town where everyone has a secret or three, Flute follows every clue he has to redeem himself with the ex-wife he never stopped loving, even if it means Hanging out with the son he never bothered to get to know.
