Discover the Thrilling Climbers’ Time Trial at the 110th Edition of the Tour de France

2023-07-18 13:37:43

Between Passy and Combloux, the 22.4 kilometers of the day will be the only time trial kilometers of the 110th edition of the Tour de France. This time trial should be suitable for climbers, given the 650 meters of elevation gain on the course. The end of the course takes the Côte de Domancy (2.5 km at 9.4%), the scene of Bernard Hinault’s victory at the 1980 world championships.

On such a difficult course, the protagonists of the general classification who are less comfortable in the solo effort will be less disadvantaged than on a classic time trial. The live video is to follow from 12:55 p.m., 10 minutes before the start of the first runner. The end of the stage is scheduled for around 5:40 p.m.
